This week, we take a look back at some of Quentin Tarantino’s greatest films in a series of posts called “A Stroll Down Memory Lane with Quentin Tarantino”.

The journey into Quentin Tarantino’s twisted mind is well underway. As we’ve rolled out our newest film, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, we’ve begun to dive into the director’s back catalogue. Some of his most famous films include “Pulp Fiction”, “Kill Bill”, and “Inglourious Basterds”.

Many movie fans remember the young Quentin Tarantino as the skinny young director of “Reservoir Dogs” and “Pulp Fiction.” But now, at 43, he’s the somewhat portly director of “The Hateful Eight” and “The Weinstein Company has announced that Tarantino will also produce the film, which is written by Tarantino regular and Oscar winner John Romano.

It has been almost 30 years since the great and famous Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino began his career. During this time, he made nine major films that won numerous Oscars and established him as one of the greatest directors of all time. A recent guest on Real Time with Bill Maher, Tarantino decided to make an official statement. He announced his official retirement and decided to hang up his hat after the last movie. Lately he has been working on promoting his new movie novel, Once Upon a Time….. in Hollywood. But now that he’s at the end of his film career, let’s take a look at some of Tarantino’s best works over the years!

Reservoir dogs

It would be unfair not to start with the Tarantino film that brought him to fame and celebrity. Reservoir Dogs, which Tarantino made on a multi-million dollar budget, has once again become one of the most beloved crime and terrorism films of all time. The story proceeds in several parallels, involving six characters who unite under pseudonyms that bear the names of colors. During the robbery, however, they soon discover that one of the gang members is a cop trying to infiltrate them and is working undercover to ruin their operation. Big names like Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi, Chris Penn and many others played the leading roles.

Django Released

Another film that put Tarantino on the path to the Oscars. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington.

It’s about a slave named Django who is taken away from his family during the American Civil War. Along the way, he is freed by Dr. Schultz, a bounty hunter, who wants to help Django on a rescue mission in exchange for the money he earns from killing criminals. What Django doesn’t know is that the person for whom this rescue mission is intended is none other than Django’s wife, Broomhilde. She is kept as a servant by a wealthy plantation owner, Calvin Candy, played by DiCaprio. Together, Django and Dr. Schultz race towards their mission of freedom.

Kill Bill Part 1 and Part 2

This may be the best action series Tarantino has ever made. Starring Uma Thurman as the bride, the film is based on a bloody revenge plot. When a man named Bill commits an unexpected massacre at the bride’s wedding, she goes on a revenge mission to catch Bill and finish him off once and for all.

What’s great about this film is how many fight scenes took place in the first and second films, and how they end up being a perfect compilation of the aestheticization of violence in film. This is something Tarantino is very well known for. Although there are always debates about how violence in movies can be related to real life influences. Tarantino defended himself by justifying his stance on violence in movies, saying it had nothing to do with violence in real life. The series also featured Michael Madsen, David Carradine, Daryl Hannah and Vivica A. Fox in some notable roles.

Inglourious Basterds

According to Lieutenant Aldo Reyna, this could be my masterpiece. Directed by Quentin Tarantino, this film is another story of bloody revenge during World War II. The story is divided into two parts. There are two sides to this coin: On the one hand, a woman who, out of revenge, wants to kill the German officer Hans Landa, who murdered the girl’s family in cold blood when she was a child.

On the other side of the film, Jewish American soldiers are on the run to kill the Nazis and overthrow the government. The soldiers are led by Lieutenant Aldo Raine. Very quickly these two stories collide, and then take a unified direction. The film stars Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz, Michael Fassbender, Daniel Bruhl and B.J. Novak. This film, which took Tarantino ten years to make, is an absolute masterpiece.

The repelling eight

Packed with the best allusions to western history and humor from the American Civil War, the film is set in the 1860s. It’s about a bounty hunter, Major Marquis Warren, who brings bodies to Red Rock, but meets a famous man along the way. He meets John Executioner Ruth, who is holding a woman named Daisy Domergue hostage for execution in the city. Major Warren asks him to take a ride, as his horses are dead from the snow. But through all the snow they traverse, they meet another man, the Sheriff of Red Rock, Chris Mannix.

When it snows too much, they go to a place called Minnie’s Gallantry. The events that unfold after that are filled with great tension. If you want to know what’s going on, you have to watch the movie and remove the tension. One of the best films in the thriller/mystery genre. The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tom Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Walter Goggins and Channing Tatum.

Pulp Fiction

Of course, we saved the best for last as Tarantino offers the ultimate moviegoing experience to all moviegoers. Along with Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta, this film is perhaps Tarantino’s best work to watch.

It is a fictional story about two petty criminals who work for a big gangster on the city streets and get into trouble. Vincent and Jules are two names that pop up in the film. They are an unforgettable duo who must kill Brett and his friends for messing with their boss Marcellus Wallace. The film has a non-linear plot and ends on the same note as it began. This movie has an unforgettable cast, with stars like Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Ving Rhames and Bruce Willis! This film is the best work of Quentin Jerome Tarantino. That’s a promise. Don’t forget to guess what’s in the suitcase.

The tenth and final film of Quentin Jerome Tarantino

Now that Quentin Tarantino has announced his departure, all that’s left is Tarantino’s last film before he hangs up his hat. He has influenced many filmmakers around the world during his tenure and will continue to do so. His film will be studied by moviegoers and loved by millions and millions of people around the world.

Which movie could be Quentin Tarantino’s last? Will it be a sequel to one of his previous films? Or will it bring a whole new story to the screens and come up with a stellar performance? And the whole thing? Will it be the legendary actors Tarantino has cast over the years, or a newcomer? The time has come to experience His final and ultimate creation. One of the best directors who ever lived.
