Chronological Order of Scooby-Doo Live-Action Films
When it comes to live-action films, we can see a little chronology in their order, but first, here’s the order by date of release:
- Scooby Doo is a fictional character created by Warner Bros. Animation (2002)
- Scooby-Doo! Unleashed Monsters (2004)
- Scooby-Doo! The Adventure Begins (2009)
- Scooby-Doo! The Lake’s Curse (2010)
- Velma and Daphne (2018)
Despite the fact that the series begins with Scooby-Doo, the film’s narrative does not always begin there. The narrative starts seven years later, when “Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins,” the portion of the film that gives it genuine cohesiveness, is released. As a result, I offer to you the perfect Scooby-Doo movie chronology:
Scooby-Doo is number one! The Adventure Begins
The tale starts in the fictitious city of Coolsville, Ohio, at a pet adoption fair, where our dog Scooby is one of the dogs available for adoption.
He goes into a cemetery to seek shelter from a storm after abandoning him at the conclusion of the fair, when he encounters two spirits rising from the grave. When Scooby flees in terror, he runs across Shaggy, an uncomfortable nerd with no friends who chooses to seek shelter in his room, and the two become fast friends.
Shaggy meets new acquaintances while in detention, including Fred Jones, a quarterback on the football squad; Daphne Blake, a beautiful and wealthy girl in the theatre club; and Velma Dinkley, a scientific geek.
However, they are quickly stopped by two ghosts who pursue them to the gym, where a meeting with the student is in progress, and then a third spirit known as “The Specter” emerges. The Specter insists that the school be shuttered or the Principal, Deedle, would face his wrath.
When Velma comes finds a spellbook that Vice Principal Grimes had stolen to look for answers, he becomes the main suspect. The group then chooses to explore Grimes’ home at night, which leads them to knowledge about a “Time Capsule” under the school, but the two ghosts attack them once again, knocking them out.
When they recover consciousness, the Scepter kidnaps Scooby and Grime and sends the remainder of the crew on a mission to locate the time capsule. They catch the Scepter, who turns out to be Deedle, via a series of shenanigans.
Scooby-Doo! (Scooby-Doo!) (Scooby-Do The Lake’s Curse is a story about a curse that afflicts (2010)
The group chooses to work for Daphne’s Uncle at his country club for the summer in “Scooby-Doo! The Curse of the Lake.” During the club’s first night, a large giant frog comes out of nowhere and makes a ruckus.
They begin their inquiry with Mr. Uggins, the lighthouse keeper who is the only person who has captured a photograph of the monster in the lake. He tells the tale of Wanda Grubworth, a witch who formerly controlled the land and was irritated by humans entering her domain.
Velma attempts to show the crew video of the lake monster seeing a hooded creature the next day, but she spills her drink on the computer just as they get close to the figure’s face, rendering the film worthless. Fred and Daphne’s relationship seems to be off since they don’t frequently hang out together, and Shaggy starts to develop emotions for Velma, making Scooby feel uncomfortable about his best friend.
Velma is found asleep on the beach the following morning, but when she wakes up, the gang notices a weird wart on her hand. Shaggy, however, dons his big boy pants and asks Velma out on a date, which she accepts.
Mrs. Trowburg, who is a descendent of the witch Wanda, is the suspect to whom all evidence leads. When they arrive, they discover Velma has been possessed by Wanda the whole time.
Shaggy was able to wake her up by singing her favorite song, and Scooby intercepted and destroyed the Moonstones as Wanda’s spirit attempted to flee to her servants. From that moment on, they all agreed that being friends was the best course of action. The monsters revert to frogs now that Wanda’s spirit has gone, and everything else falls into place. Daphne suggests that they be named “Mystery Incorporated” towards the conclusion of the film.
Scooby Doo is the third character in the Scooby Doo series (2002)
First and foremost, the Scooby-Doo movies are ranked third in terms of chronological sequence. Despite the fact that it is the first on the release list, the narrative does not begin to flow. It starts with the members of Mystery Inc. reuniting to Spooky Island after two years apart to solve a mystery. A number of fans of Scooby-Doo have questions regarding this tale.
“Why did Mystery become disbanded?” is the most significant of all the questions. So yet, there hasn’t been a solid enough explanation provided. Maybe, just maybe, Warner Bros. has something in the works to fulfill that plot point. Emile Mondavarious, the resort’s proprietor, informs the crew that the visitors were all fed falsehoods before they arrived. Velma becomes entangled in a ceremony by actor N’Goo Tuana and his henchman, Zarkos, while inspecting the resort. N’Goo informs her that the island is inhabited by demons who have been plotting an act of vengeance since the resort was built.
Daphne discovers the Daemon Ritus, a pyramid-shaped rock, as they go to work. Demons capture Fred and Velma, Mondavarious, and other visitors on the island, while Zarkos takes the Daemon Ritus from Daphne, who seems to be possessed.
Velma discovers that sunlight is capable of killing demons. They can only end Mondavarious and his demons by offering a pure soul, which turns out to be Scooby, according to a magical priest. In an effort to bait Scooby, they remove his soul, but Shaggy escapes and collides with Mondavarious, freeing Scooby’s soul. Mondavarious is eventually revealed to be Scrappy Doo, Scooby Doo’s long-lost cousin who has gone evil.
Zarkos attempts to assault Daphne again, but she kicks him into the ritual chamber, knocking him over and releasing the imprisoned souls into their proper bodies. Scooby assassinates his cousin, and the actual Mondavarious is discovered imprisoned below. The group makes the decision to always work together to solve mysteries.
Scooby-Doo! is number four. Monsters Unleashed is a game about monsters that have been unleashed (2004)
The film opens with an exhibition at the Coolsonian Criminology Museum, where the stars are the center of attention. The museum housed all of the villains’ monster costumes from previous mysteries solved by Mystery Inc. The party is attacked by an unknown person known as the “Evil Masked Figure,” who uses the reanimated “Pterodactyl Ghost” to take two outfits.
They fix their gaze on Jeremiah Wickles, a former “Black Knight Ghost” and Jacobo’s old buddy.
When Shaggy and Scooby hear the other gang members grumble about being distracted by food whenever it’s time to get serious, they get depressed. As a result, they try to make amends by capturing the pterodactyl ghost.
The group travels to Wickles Mansion in quest of answers, and after falling down a trapdoor, they are imprisoned, but they manage to escape with Daphne’s accessory. They discover an instruction booklet on how to create monsters while going through Wickles’ belongings. After eluding the Black Knight, the group discovered a hint indicating that the essential component in creating monsters was a rare substance known as Randomonium, which could only be found in the Coolsville’s old mine.
Wickles’ offer prompts Scooby and Shaggy to follow up. As they enter Faux Ghost, they see that it is a hangout for all of Mystery Inc’s former adversaries.
They join the group in order to learn more about Wickles, but they quickly reveal their location and flee in a sequence of acts that are really very amusing.
After an uncomfortable conversation with Patrick, they both see Wickles hurrying away and decide to pursue him. Wickles is confronted by the gang and accused of being the wicked masked person, but he clears up any questions and reveals his connection with Jacobo. The group discovers the monster hive, where the costumes are brought to life, after extensive exploring of the mines.
As usual, Shaggy and Scooby muck about with the controls, bring all of the costumes to life, and manage to escape with the control panel. After considerable prodding by journalist Heather Jasper Howe, the community likewise holds them in high regard. To clear their minds, they return to their old clubhouse.
They discover a method to reverse the control panel’s monster-making process, putting a stop to all monsters, at the clubhouse. When the group arrives to the mines, they divide and conquer as many creatures as they can, passing the panel along the way.
They all leave the control panel in Scooby and Shaggy’s hands since they are both fighting monsters. They all get it to the hive and wait in terror and despair for Shaggy and Scooby. When the group comes together, the Evil Masked Figure’s tar monster captures them all. Scooby freezes the tar monster with a fire extinguisher and then uses the control panel to reverse the creatures and rescue the city.
The Evil Masked Figure is exposed in front of the public by Velma, journalist Heather, and Jonathan Jacobo, who is disguised as the Evil Masked Figure. The group throws a party at Faux Ghost to celebrate Jacobo’s arrest.
5. Velma & Daphne (2018)
The 2018 Warner Bros. film does not include all of Mystery Incorporated’s members, but rather only two, as the title suggests. It begins with the two establishing a friendship connection without mentioning Fred, Shaggy, or Scooby, nor any allusions to previous Scooby-Doo films. I prefer to think of it as a chronology in the abstract.
The story begins with the introduction of Daphne Blake, a highly attractive, nearly famous high school girl who hosts a web show about aliens and the occult. At the same time, Daphne’s loving but reproving online pal Velma Dinkley reminds her that everything happens with facts circling around them. Later, Daphne informs Velma that she will be attending school at Ridge Valley, which is Velma’s present school.
On her first day at Ridge Valley, she meets Carol, who gives her a tour of the school, focusing on the Bloom Innovative technology that Tobias Bloom oversees. She runs into Velma while on her way to work, but Velma rejects her with a chilly reaction.
The girls had a heated fight the following day at school over Velma’s purpose ruining their scientific project. The girls bury the hatchet after being summoned to the principal’s office and punished, and resolve to solve the issue of the missing pupils.
They observe Spencer, a bright student recruited for an internship program with Bloom Innovative, behaving strangely and disappearing after entering a locker while on the lookout for potential suspects. The girls then cast a suspicious eye on Griffin, who stands to gain the most if Spencer goes missing, but is proven incorrect when Griffin is kidnapped.
To get to the bottom of this, Velma recommends her join in the Bloom internship program and finish at the top of the Bloom Bracket. Despite their best efforts to get Velma there, Mikayla, a friend of theirs, was named valedictorian. When they cut the power to Mikayla’s project, they are pursued by a mysterious ghost, who leads them to a weird chamber and reveals the ghost to be Daphne’s father.
Later, when Daphne attempts to video chat with her mother, she discovers that she has been kidnapped by Tobias Bloom, who turns out to be the student’s kidnapper.
With the assistance of Daphne’s father, they manage to get into Bloom Innovative’s offices and face Tobias, who turns out to be a hologram. Carol, Daphne’s senior advisor from school, revealed out to be the true genius behind it all.
She intended to make herself wealthy and famous by capitalizing on the brilliant ideas of these young pupils. She is apprehended by the females, who give her over to the cops.
Are There Any More Scooby-Doo Movies in the Works?
New Scooby-Doo movies will be released. A new film titled “Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too!” is set to be released in 2021, although no specific date has been set. Also, James Gunn had indicated that “Scooby-Doo 3” will be released. Despite this, owing to the dismal critical response of Scooby-Doo and Monsters Unleashed, the film’s development was terminated.
The scooby-doo movie list imdb is a chronological order of every mystery incorporated movie.
