http://server.digimetriq.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Karl-Morgenthau-Flag-Smasher---Whos-Who.jpg- Whos-Who.jpg Last night Marvel Studios brought us an incredible amount of news, with countless trailers, new characters and announcements of new movies and series. We also have many new characters that we can see together, starting with those in the first trailer of the film Falcon and Winter Soldier. The most unexpected is probably Flag Smasher, one of my favorites on Captain America’s Rogue: This anarchist terrorist will be represented in the next series by Erin Kelliman, so his comic book colleague probably won’t be Carl Morgenthau. For his live debut, Flag Schmasher will be the leader of a terrorist group called Flag Schmasher, another small change to the comic book. Let’s look at it together.

Carl Morgenthau, born in Bern, Switzerland, was the son of a wealthy banker who changed his career and became a diplomat. The young Karl followed his father from town to town, from country to country, and grew up in various places in the dream that one day an adult would follow in the footsteps of a diplomat. Although the boy is single and cannot make friends because he is constantly on the move, he is extremely intelligent, speaks several languages and quickly learns everything about the new countries where he lives. At the age of fifteen, he lives in Tokyo, Japan, where he studies martial arts, which he absorbs with the same skill with which he speaks languages. http://server.digimetriq.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/1607751366_816_Karl-Morgenthau-Flag-Smasher---Whos-Who.jpg --Whos-Who.jpg At the age of nineteen, he moves to New York with his father and goes to Columbia University, where he can finally study to become a diplomat just like his father. But tragedy strikes and Carl’s father is killed in an incident at the Latvian embassy, accidentally caused by a crowd of demonstrators. In his grief, Charles had a revelation: He still fought for world peace, just like his father, but the path of the diplomat was too passive, unable to bring about real change. People could not find unity as long as they believed that their nation was superior to all others, and flags and borders would preserve the human family forever if they were not excluded from the equation. Dedicated to the destruction of the illusion of the state, to the destruction of false idols that impeded the realization of world peace, it decided to use the only truly universal language understood by all peoples and nationalities: violence. With the small fortune he had inherited from his father and the political relations that had developed over the years, he built up an arsenal and created the clothing identity of the flagship: After further training he was finally able to return to New York to change the world the way he wanted.

In the Big Apple, Flag-Smasher began his one-man crusade against discord, and because he wanted to spread information about anti-nationalism, he organized a series of terrorist attacks on embassies and other nationalist symbols until he came to life: Captain America, who literally wore a flag in uniform. After Cape Town, Flag-Smasher learned that he would make a public speech at the United Nations headquarters, so he intervened just before he could start http://server.digimetriq.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/1607751366_502_Karl-Morgenthau-Flag-Smasher---Whos-Who.jpg--Whos-Who.jpg and took hundreds of people hostage who had gathered to listen to the hero. Eventually, Flag Smasher took the place of Captain America as the keynote speaker for the audience he had hoped for and was given the opportunity to spread his message of peace and unity of all mankind, but the audience was quite difficult, especially when he was held at gunpoint. Captain America, for his part, quickly transferred the ideological conflict to the physical plane and despite all his training, Flag Smarher was not at all up to the challenge of his division, was overworked and arrested. Because Carl Morgenthau was not an American citizen, he was deported and sent back to Europe, where he could reflect on his failure and planned to avoid another. He came to the conclusion that acting alone was his biggest mistake, which he did not want to repeat: He met an anarchist terrorist group, the clandestine mobile army fully integrated to unite humanity, better known as U.L.T.I.M.A.T.U.M., which shared his ideology. Not only did Flag Smasher join them, but thanks to his skills and charisma he quickly became their supreme commander, who reinvented the group and helped them with his tactical skills and resources. For their part, the U.L.T.I.M.A.T.U.M. shared his futuristic technology, making Flag Smasher’s arsenal even more powerful. Having led a group of devotees to the teeth armed with modern weapons, Flag Smasher was ready to resume his offensive on a fragile and divided world in an idealistic attempt to bring them together by all possible means.

Carl Morgenthau – a brilliant man, a charismatic leader, but above all an idealist, a utopian who pursues the dream of uniting the divided world by all means, violence is the first choice. He is a flag-breaker, he is well trained in martial arts, especially Scottish karate, he is extremely athletic and agile; he has many weapons, including U.L.T.I.M.A.T.U.M. including his distinctive combat stick, which can be recharged with energy for additional destructive power, firearms, gas grenades and numerous weapons; he is also equipped with flying skis and a teleportation device, and his suit is an impenetrable but lightweight bulletproof vest that can absorb the energy of other living creatures and conduct it to increase its strength and durability. The flagship Shmasher, leading an army of one of the world’s largest terrorist organizations, exists to destroy all borders and nations and strives to realize the dream of a single humanity finally freed from the false idol of patriotism and nationalism.
