This week, Sharon had a moment of clarity about her relationship with Adam. “He’s not the woman he used to be,” she said. “He’s not the man I fell in love with. He’s not the father of our kids…I just think he’s selfish and a lot of times he doesn’t even care about his kids.” But, she found herself saying, “Adam’s not the problem—Adam’s not the problem. It’s Chloe…if Chloe makes Adam happy then it’s all good.”
If Adam and Joey were any more perfect for each other, they’d be made of sugar and sprinkles. Sharon’s been patiently waiting for the other shoe to drop since she started dating the Foxy Di, but she might have hit the jackpot with the sitcom’s new leading man. Not only is Adam hilarious, he’s also the kind of guy who’s totally into her—and it’s hard not to fall in love with a guy like that.
Here at cinematicshadows we occasionally hold off on posting a review of a new movie to see if it will find a life of its own. This is something Sharon Donovan has been trying to do for a long time and has been trying to do for a long time. The first test came in the form of a blog she wrote about Les Miserables. The reason I started this blog in the first place was so I could put the various reviews in one place and put the movies in their proper category.
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) never stopped caring for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). So, the storyline that might have her being drawn back to him makes sense to viewers, be they hardcore or newer Young and Restless fans.
However, anyone who has watched Y&R for a period of time or even those who have only recently learned about Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) history with this particular character have to pause. Adam offers her a fashion related job at Newman Media, she accepts it, and is now starting. Really?
Spoilers From The Young And The Restless – Sharon Rosales Is Drawn To Conflict
On The Young and the Restless, Sharon has made a lot of progress. She put in a lot of effort to restore stability, and she’s been able to keep it for a long time. Above all, she overcame her cancer diagnosis with courage, with the help of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), her children, and others, and she triumphed.
Because all of the people in this renowned location are so close, it’s only natural for Sharon to have intermittent connections to Adam. Sharon’s love emotions for Adam being rekindled followed several times in her history.
So it’s only natural that Rey’s out-of-town job as Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) escort provided Sharon and Adam more opportunities to speak. Sharon was attracted to Adam’s bad boy reputation during those conversations, according to Adam. True. On The Young and the Restless, she’s also engaged in his present transition into a good person.
Y&R Spoilers – Chloe Mitchell Hasn’t Forgotten Or Forgiven
Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) perished many years ago on a dark road near Genoa City, Wisconsin. Adam (as portrayed by Michael Muhney at the time) began to think that he had struck her by mistake. He concealed that obvious truth, which was subsequently revealed, making him Chloe’s everlasting arch-nemesis.
Hendrickson, like Grossman, is a fantastic actress. As a result, their collaboration at Newman Media will undoubtedly be fantastic. However, long-time fans in particular are being pushed to take on too much.
Only a few months ago, Chloe was collaborating with Chelsea to bring Adam to justice. Chelsea’s ticket to a mental health facility, and now to imprisonment in Minnesota with her healing mother, Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach). Chloe would never work for Adam, although it has occurred on the soaps.

Spoilers for The Young and the Restless: Adam Newman’s Potential Redemption
As a counter to the above section, Y&R is basically asking viewers to at least consider this test. If Adam can sincerely reach out to Chloe and make some form of amends, as he’s honestly trying to do, then what feels like a real redemption arc is unfolding.
Grossman is a fantastic performer, continuing the trend of great skill in this part. He, like Hendrickson, has the skills to make the improbable believable.
So, if Adam and Chloe can work together, with the intention of Chelsea joining them when she’s ready, a reconciliation with Sharon may become more probable. Is there a sequel to Redemption and Shadam? That would be a fascinating soap to watch.
