We’ve all heard the saying “There are three sides to every story: your side, my side, and the truth.” The saying comes from the idea that different people may see the same situation in radically different ways. Well, this is certainly true of the movie The War Within , about the effect of the Iraq war on the lives of three generations of a single family.
The Royal Family is so rich and powerful that it is easy to forget that it is made of individuals. Each member of the Royal Family is an individual, with their own desires, needs and secrets. And these individuals are not just fighting against each other to be King or Queen, but news has been slowly spreading that they are also fighting against themselves.
News about the British royal family reveals that the President of the Republic believes that British opinion of the monarchy is more divided than ever, given the recent generational shift. The Republic is a group that supports the abolition of the monarchy and the replacement of Queen Elizabeth with an elected, democratic head of state.
News of the Royal Household – The Republic wants to abolish the monarchy
Graham Smith told the Express.co.uk that the royal family became a polarizing topic after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shamelessly exposed Oprah Winfrey’s dirty royal underwear.
He said: At least I’m always told that the monarchy unites the country. But it has become an issue of great division, more divided than ever, as polls show, the country is divided on every issue relating to the monarchy. Generally divided by age and so on.

He added: There’s a big shift in the polls, but it’s too early to tell if it will continue.
Before this great book was published, the Republican movement in Britain was about 20%.
But royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams disagrees with the Republic’s campaign to abolish the monarchy. Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: That’s not exactly an accurate summary of the current state of the royal family, which according to YouGov is about where it usually is, with only about 20% support for republicanism, which is its usual level of support.
A March 2021 poll found that the British public did not approve of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s shameless interview with Oprah Winfrey.
But his friend Omid Scobie said on his podcast HeirPod that the poll results in the UK reflect the public’s reaction to some of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s complaints against the royal family.

News about the royal family – Should the monarchy be abolished?
Scobie Doo said: In a direct YouGov survey of 2,000 to 3,000 adults, we saw that 40% of Americans feel it is appropriate to participate in an interview and be so candid.
The remaining number consists of most people saying I don’t care and others saying it’s inappropriate. This is in stark contrast to the UK, where 47% of those surveyed said it was inappropriate for the couple to tell their story, even if the interview took place.
Sobhy Doo concluded: I suppose it somewhat reflects the public’s reaction to some very serious allegations against the royal family. Many people seem to want to bury their heads in the sand and hope the problem will go away on its own. I can imagine some family members being in the same situation.
